About ELF

The mission of the Electronic Literature Foundation (ELF) is to produce advanced electronic texts to be used by students, scholars, and admirers of literature around the world. ELF proposes to do this using the Internet, as we believe that the full power of technology has not been tapped in this area. We also include other forms of technology that are appropriate, such as information appliances. Our goal is to provide free access to a variety of texts from world literature available in several languages, with forums for communication regarding these works, for all types of readers.
